These were written decades after Jesus' life by biased authors who are at odds with one another on details up and down the line. But historians can never dismiss sources simply because they are biased. You may not trust Rush Limbaugh's views of Sandra Fluke, but he certainly provides evidence that she exists.\nThe question is not whether sources are biased but whether biased sources can be used to yield historically reliable information, once their biased chaff is separated from the historical kernel. And historians have devised ways of doing just that.\" (Ehrman, 2012)","challenge_picture":null,"challenge_picture_alt":null,"challenge_picture_caption":null,"challenge_rank_number":null,"upvotes":null,"downvotes":null,"published_draft":1,"metadata_keywords":null,"academic_popular":"academic","mla_sources":[{"id":2,"mla_website_title":"Did Jesus Exist?","mla_website_url":"https://archive.md/CqA8v","mla_website_date":"20 March 2012","mla_website_author":"Bart Ehrman","mla_website_publisher":"Huffington Post","mla_book_title":null,"mla_book_author":null,"mla_book_publisher":null,"mla_book_date":null,"mla_book_page_reference":null,"mla_journal_article_author":null,"mla_journal_article_title":null,"mla_journal_title":null,"mla_journal_volume":null,"mla_journal_issue":null,"mla_journal_date":null,"mla_journal_page_reference":null,"published_draft":0}],"bibliography":[{"id":2,"mla_website_title":"Did Jesus Exist?","mla_website_url":"https://archive.md/CqA8v","mla_website_date":"20 March 2012","mla_website_author":"Bart Ehrman","mla_website_publisher":"Huffington Post","mla_book_title":null,"mla_book_author":null,"mla_book_publisher":null,"mla_book_date":null,"mla_book_page_reference":null,"mla_journal_article_author":null,"mla_journal_article_title":null,"mla_journal_title":null,"mla_journal_volume":null,"mla_journal_issue":null,"mla_journal_date":null,"mla_journal_page_reference":null,"published_draft":0}],"identifiers":[]}
